~Yani~

Puppet Master: Tess (A note: Due to a dispute with her parents, Tess is no longer allowed on the board. However, she does still managed to keep involved with Amaranth by sending her posts to one of our mods, Alyssa, to post. That's why her profile is up here, but you'll never see her username on the boards)

Character Name: Yani

Character Age: 21

Gender: Female

Rank: Rebel

Hair: Yani's brown hair is cropped usefully short, although when it is not tied
back it is constantly in her face (to her great annoyance).

Eyes: Her eyes are not pure brown, nor pure green. Their shade is more hazel.

Build: Yani is slightly taller than is usually for a woman, but she is also very
thin. She is well muscled and in good condition. Her skin is tan from always
being outside.

Face: Her face is not remarkable. It is round in shape, her lips thin, her
cheekbones well defined. The most prominent feature about her face is her
blush, which tends to creep up at the most inopportune moments.

Dress: She dresses in sensible clothing: comfortable shirt and trousers that she
will not mind if she soils. She dons dresses, on occasion, and these are
usually bright in color, although without many adornments.

Personality: Yani is fiercely protective of all that she holds dear: especially
her mother and her five younger siblings. She has a reputation of being a
recluse, which she fully earned.

Talents:When it comes to a battle of wits, Yani may not be the first one thinks
of, but in a battle of strength, she can best quite a few. Stick-fighting and
wrestling especially are her fortes. (She was taught these skills by friends
from the village who thought she might need to protect herself. They didn't
foresee her become so adept at them.)

History: Yani was born to a simple family in the Free Village. Her parents
both escaped to the village after the deaths of their own parents, where they
married and had six children, all boys except for five girls--Yani was the
eldest. Her father died of an illness when she was twelve, at which point she
felt she must protect her family, for her only brother was only two years of age
and in fragile health.

She learned skills to protect her family, as well as to work hard and earn their
keep. Even though she is technically grown and should probably be on her own,
she still feels a fierce sense of protection for her aging mother and five
younger siblings, who now range in age from nineteen years to eleven.
