Hair: Very dark brown, close to black, and very straight. She wears it down when
she's not at practice, but always ties it up when she's at the training courts.

Eyes: Almond shaped and dark brown. They're capable of looking very mischievous, very flirty, very determined...or some combination thereof

Build: Small and prettily curved, she wins the admiration of the men easily but
has to work quite hard to keep up with them on the practice courts. She's able to use her small size to her advantage some of the time (catching her has been compared to trying to catch a hummingbird) but being petite also means that one good hit can take her out of the fight.

Face: Round to heart shaped, with delicate features and broad cheekbones. She's considered very pretty by nearly everyone in the camp and has a large following of admirerer (whom she tends to encourage).

Dress: Mostly snug undyed shirts, tunics and breeches for everyday wear. If she's
dressing up she likes dark red or orange and she usually has a bright scarf or belt around her waist to catch people's eye.

Personality: Overall Amari is quite good natured. She's cheerful, more than a little flirtatious and likes a challenge. She and Faron enjoy being the centers of attention and it shows in the way they cook up schemes. However unlike Faron, Amari is quite competative and will spend time in the practice courts every day fighting whoever will come along.

Talents: Though she's not physically strong Amari is very fit. She's got a good eye and is lighting quick with both throwing and conventional knives. Fighting aside, she has a knack for getting men to eat out of the palm of her hand.

History: Amari'sParents were escaped slaves and Amari grew up in the Free Village. She joined the Rebels a few months before Faron did and has been working hard at
combat practice ever since. She's had an off and on relationship with Faron almost ever since she joined and they've been running schemes since they met. If you want to know where Twyla's hidden her honey cakes or Quinn's stashed the contraband all you have to do is ask Amari.

Faults: She's not very strong and she sometimes gets carried away trying to prove she's as good as the men. She has no talent, or patience, for domestic arts and you really do not want to let her near any sort of gambing...she's terrible at wagers and has no poker face to book. Finally, it's not a good idea to approach her in the morning before she's had her tea.
